The term “to hold one’s liquor” doesn’t refer to physical holding in one’s hands, but there are jokes. “Just read about a guy who lost his hands in a terrible accident while he was drunk. Now he REALLY can’t hold his liquor!” was posted on Twitter on December 22, 2011.
“Never drink with a man who have no hands, cause he can’t hold his liquor” was posted on Twitter on March 17, 2014.
