“I just rescued some wine. It was trapped in a bottle”

“I just rescued some wine. It was trapped in a bottle” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many gift items, such as posters and ecards. “Just rescued some wine.. it was trapped in a bottle. I saved the day!” was cited on Twitter on November 13, 2010.

“I drink wine because I don’t like to keep things bottled up” is a similar jocular one-line saying.

But Trotter is just as likely to stress its ability to lessen stress as a light alcoholic drink. Her store is full of signs like “I just rescued some wine ... it was trapped in a bottle.”
