“Happiness is having a rare steak, a bottle of whisky, and a dog to eat the rare steak” is a quote from American talk show host and comedian Johnny Carson (1925-2005) that has been printed on several images. Carson wrote in his book, Happiness is ... a Dry Martini (1965):
