League City’s slogan for many years has been “City of Live Oaks and Friendly Folks.” A new slogan—“Close to everything, far from it all”—hints that League City is located close to Houston ("close to everything"), but also close to nature ("far from it all").
The new slogan has been used since 2001, but has not been trademarked. Gloucester County, New Jersey trademarked “Close to everything, far from it all” in 2005.
