Banana Balls (crazy)
“Banana balls” is slang for crazy. “Bananas”—without “balls”—has long meant “crazy.” Both “banana” and “balls” are part of a male’s genitalia.
“Banana balls” (meaning “crazy”) has been cited in print in 2005 and 2007. The use of “banana balls” was popularized in the film Thor: The Dark World (2013).
“Banana ball” is a golf term to describe a ball that is shot in a trajectory resembling a banana.

Darcy, something of a comic relief character, continues quipping in the sequel, and Kat Dennings’s ability to improvise on the London set resulted in some of the sequel’s funniest moments. “There was a little bit of improv,” Dennings said. “On my first day back – I’m on this show in the States which allows no improv whatsoever – and so when you guys told me I could do that, I didn’t know what to do. I was very jetlagged, so I think ‘banana balls’ came out of my exhaustion. “
